Wilde Moto Cruiser: 3 Bar Homage for $900

Wilde just announced an all-new model, the Moto Cruiser, this morning…

The Moto Cruiser is a classic three-bar cruiser silhouette, inspired by Cook Brothers (which are now fetching $12k at auction), Pro Cruiser, Laguna, Littlejohn, Sweetheart Cycles (Later became Yeti), and others from the 1980s. These 26″ wheeled big BMX bikes came along around the time of the genesis of the mountain bike.

Unlike classic cruisers, Wilde’s Moto Cruiser comes in four sizes. It was designed to be as easy to build up as possible from your parts bin or local used bike co-op. It takes rim brakes, 26” quick-release or bolt-on wheels, and can be built geared or single speed.

The looptail, big tire clearance, classic silhouette, derailleur capable horizontal dropouts, and the ability to choose from decades of available used parts, updated with stealth dropper routing and a more progressive geo for maximum playfulness.

The Moto Cruiser can be purchased as a frameset bundle – frame, fork, handlebar – for $900 or a Deore single speed complete for $1800. Both options are available for pre-book immediately with delivery in June, 2026…
