The latest problem-solving part out of Ratio‘s Cumbria, UK workshop is a Shimano GRX-compatible chainring in 38t, 36t, and 34t sizes. Despite being aimed at gravel riders – and now available with a 9-45t cassette option – Shimano’s GRX group is available with only 40t and 42t chainrings as standard…

As keen gravel riders in a hilly area, many riders, including the team at Ratio, miss the smaller sizes; spin it to win it! That’s why these new chainrings are available down to 34 teeth. This makes them currently the only 34-tooth option on the market for Shimano GRX fitment.
The 4 Bolt 110 BCD Ring for Shimano GRX uses our own proven tooth profile, drawing on research performed at the University of Cambridge to achieve the broadest compatibility with 11, 12, and 13 speed chains – including all Shimano and SRAM models.
All of Ratio’s chainrings are machined in-house from 7075 aluminium (twice as strong as 6061) in its workshop in the Lake District, UK.
